Pest Management of Texas
Individually owned and operated since its inception in 1997, Pest Management of Texas strives to bring its customers quality service at competitive prices, while retaining the approachability and sense of community that only a small business can deliver.
When Carl Crittenden was 21, he discovered the pest management industry. He has always been concerned for the safety of the public and fascinated with many different kinds of species of pests as a child.
His concern for public safety is not only focused on keeping us safe from creepy crawlers. Carl has also been a certified peace officer since 1988. Carl has been a peace officer for the cities of Seagoville, Candrall, Balch Springs and has been a certified peace officer in Lavon for the past ten years.
In May 1986, Carl started working in the commercial division of Sears Termite and Pest Control. At 22, he was the youngest Service manager in Sears’ history. June 1992 began a two-year employment as the Assistant Sales Manager for Orkin. Then, in September 1995, Carl was promoted to Terminix’s Residential Branch Manager. After that, he worked for Ideal Pest Control as a Technician, an East Regional Manager, a Customer Service Manager, and a Marketing Manager.
After five years with Ideal Pest Control and many years with other pest management companies, Carl realized he had always wanted to be a business owner and started Pest Management of Texas, Inc. in March 1997.
Filling every role, from technician, to customer service manager, to marketing manager, has given him the unique perspective to understand not only the steps needed to correct your pest problem, but to also recognize the importance of pleasing his customers and building relationships that last. It is so rewarding to provide the highest quality service for customer’s money, and not just the same coverage the larger companies provide at a premium price. Everyone needs affordability without sacrificing quality.
What started out as a “One Man Show” has grown to include 17 employees, making Pest Management of Texas the “Fastest Growing Independently Owned & Operated Pest Control Business”.
